The SaaSam privacy statement is intended primarily for visitors to our website. We have adopted a separate Privacy for Hosted Customers statement to address the privacy needs of the customers of the Agiloft hosted service.

Registration and Collection of Information

We offer visitors and users the option to voluntarily provide contact information at several different points on our website. For instance, in order to request a price quote, a personalised demo, an evaluation hosted project, or a program download, users must enter some contact information, such as their name, company, email and telephone number. We may also request information about the user's job title, web site URL, and where they heard about our products, but providing this information is entirely optional.

A website tracking tool at our website may also collect information about the number of users accessing specific pages at our website. This tracking tool may display the IP addresses of users who visit our site.

How information is used

Personal contact information is used in order to contact the user about the services on our site regarding which they have expressed interest, and to provide users with efficient customer and sales support.

Basic demographic information, and information about how users have heard about our product, may be analysed by our marketing staff to help us market our products more effectively.
Website tracking information may be analysed to gauge the effectiveness of particular marketing campaigns in terms of numbers of hits and pages viewed. This information is available only to our marketing employees and management team and does not contain any specific user information.
Saasam is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.

Providing User Information to Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share any personally identifiable or private customer information submitted online from individuals or companies with any third parties other than Agiloft directly. Agiloft’s own Privacy Policy’s which mirrors our own, can be found here.

We have a Reseller relationship with Agiloft, and work on their behalf to sell and support the Agiloft product in our regions. This relationship is bound by a Reseller Agreement. As part of this agreement, we may provide contact information received from individuals or companies to Agiloft directly, so they may follow up with further sales or customer support services.

The agreement signed between SaaSam and Agiloft mandate that we abide by the terms of our privacy policies for any user information received. In other words, if we provide user contact information to Agiloft, or vice versa, we may not share that information with any third party and must use it only to provide sales and customer support services.

Our website contains links to other websites. Please be aware that SaaSam is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. The SaaSam privacy statement applies solely to information collected at this website.

Support Knowledgebase

We provide online support to customers and to visitors. If you are a current customer or visitor, you may receive web support by visiting our support site and logging in. This allows you to view our published FAQs and ask questions of our support personnel. Your questions and our answers may be published on our website and made available to other website visitors. However, other visitors will have no way of knowing that one or more of the questions on the website was asked by you, as your personal information will not be visible.

Opt-in emails

If a user wishes to be notified about new product releases, the user may elect either contact us or opt-in to notifications by completing the appropriate information on one of the registration forms.

Children

Our products are for use by businesses. Therefore, we would not expect children under the age of 18 to provide us with any personally identifiable information.

Security

We take precautions to protect our customers' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, their information is protected both online and offline using standard security best practices such as firewalls and encryption. All servers are kept physically secure in world-class hosting data centres.

Credit Cards

Credit card information is neither requested, nor held by SaaSam.

Updating customer information

We encourage our customers who are registered with our customer support service to update their personal information at any time by logging in and editing their user profile.

Other users may request that their contact information be modified or deleted by contacting us.

On May 25, 2018, the European Union's (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) privacy law will take effect. Saasam will comply with GDPR in the delivery of its services to customers and is committed to helping customers comply with the GDPR. We have reviewed the requirements of the GDPR and, along with Agiloft, are making any changes necessary to our products and materials to support compliance.
