Heather McEwen

Founder and CEO

With more than 30 years’ of industry experience in the areas of business management, IT development and international entrepreneurship, Heather is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the tech sector. She spends her time between the United Kingdom and New Zealand, has two grown up sons and a love of travel.

James O'Regan

Group General Manager

James has two degrees, a Bachelors in Recording Arts and another in Commerce, Economics and Accounting. He graduated in 2017 and gained valuable experience with international and entrepreneurial organisations in Wellington before joining SaaSam. James is talented at bass guitar and harmonica, and enjoys playing rugby, squash and cricket. 

Talia Yates

General Manager - EMEA

Originally from Australia, Talia relocated to London where she delivered numerous solutions for SMEs and FTSE100 companies before joining SaaSam UK as a senior project manager and business analyst. Talia’s sector experience spans IT, finance, oil and gas, and retail, and her practical knowledge, combined with a MA in Business Administration, underpins the value she delivers to our clients.

Lucie Zlamalova

Administration Manager

Lucie started working for SaaSam in 2012, bringing her skills and experience from a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management gained in Prague. She is an active person, enjoying summers at the beach and winters skiing and snowboarding.

Kerrin O'Regan


Kerrin has over 40 years' experience working as an accountant for some of NZ and Australia’s largest corporates, and more recently as an accounting systems implementation specialist. Now,
while not cooking or following sports, Kerrin looks after the pounds, pennies, dollars and cents for SaaSam Group.

Sonja Pearson

Business Development Manager

Sonja has worked in the ICT industry for more than 25 years, in roles such as sales executive, client manager and business intelligence consultant. She has extensive experience in marketing, communications and strategic planning, and when not working, she enjoys cooking, skiing and travelling.

Kendall McEwen

Marketing Manager

Kendall has worked in the agricultural, media and not-for-profit sectors, doing grant writing, event management and communications. She has a Bachelor of Social Sciences and a Master’s of  Management Studies, and loves being a stay-at-home mum.

Bethany McNamara

Sales Support Administrator

Beth has years of experience working in UK government organisations and has certifications in project and change management, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons). She enjoys fitness, walking and travelling to new places.

Carol Prior

Carol has decades of experience in business process management and delivering business solutions through integrated systems.  Among her responsibilities Carol works with clients remotely in South East Asia understanding changing requirements, coordinating resources and overseeing smooth implementation.

Morgans Jans

Morgan has been a technical consultant at SaaSam since 2014, after completing a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technologies. He likes the unique challenges each project brings and seeing the transformational efficiencies brought to each client's business. Outside SaaSam, Morgan is into gaming and enjoys hanging out with friends.

Kate Ruggeri

Kate has over 30 years’ experience in implementing, programming and reporting within the IT and accounting sectors. She enjoys the diversity of the work and the travel opportunities with SaaSam, but when not working - and travelling - Kate can be found enjoying time with her two teenage sons and perhaps relaxing with a jigsaw puzzle.

Marewa Paranihi

Marewa has been working as a contract analyst programmer since 2001, specialising in MS Access and MS Excel for database design and development with a focus on reporting. Marewa, who has a degree in business computing, joined SaaSam in July 2015 and as well as undertaking Agiloft implementations, also specialises in Office 365 SharePoint. Outside of work he coaches a boys rugby league team and plays the saxophone in a jazz band.

Ian Goodacre

Ian has been with SaaSam since its inception. He has many years’ experience in government, health care and private enterprises large and small, working on hardware, software and infrastructure design, implementation, operation and support, project management and technical support. Ian is an all-rounder and very much hands-on with technology.

Jo Naiman

Jo joined Saasam in 2020, and brought over 25 years' of experience in analysis, design and delivery of business solutions in healthcare, telecom and IT sectors across Europe and the UK. Responsibilities at SaaSam include gathering customer requirements, designing solutions, managing the delivery to customer and occasionally turning her hand to configuration. In her spare time, Jo tends her garden and allotment in summer, and can usually be found with a book in winter.

Implementation and support

Jaco van der Merwe

Jaco has been a technical developer at SaaSam since 2017 and enjoys the challenge of finding new creative solutions for clients. Prior to SaaSam, Jaco worked in web development and completed a Bachelor of IT at Wintec. His weekends are spent playing golf and squash, and doing a bit of baking.

Kyle Jeffries

After completing a Bachelor of Information Technology at Wintec, Kyle joined the SaaSam team as a technical developer and support manager. Working closely with clients, he enjoys putting his 
creativity and ingenuity to use to streamline their business processes. In his spare time, Kyle can be found with a good book or watching movies.

Ai Keow Lim

Ai Keow is an accomplished database administrator and an expert in all things Oracle. She looks after SaaSam’s support functions globally and performs important implementation work for clients. Ai Keow has a degree in data science from the University of Waikato, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown up children.

Hugo Baird

Hugo is an implementer, writing scripts, resolving client support issues and performing Agiloft implementations. He has a Bachelor of Science majoring in computer science and information science from the University of Otago, and outside of work he enjoys programming, being active and travelling.

Tania McKay

Tania joins the SaaSam team as a technical implementer, with experience in process improvement, operational support and governance in a multi-sourced environment. In her spare time Tania enjoys gardening, fitness and hiking.

Naveen Mathew

Naveen is an implementer, supporting clients with changes and updates to their Agiloft systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics from the University of Otago, and when not working he can be found reading, programming or exercising. 

Thomas van Weyenbergh

Tom is an implementation specialist, holding a BSc in Mathematics from Lancaster University with a Minor in Economics. He has a background working for non-profit organisations overseas and more recently in sports data, and when not working, he enjoys football, rugby, cricket and surfing. 

Hyder Mohammed

Hyder joined SaaSam’s technical team as an implementation specialist based in the UK. He has completed a Masters in software engineering and loves taking on new challenges. Outside of work, Hyder enjoys cricket, travel and spending time with family.

Tanya Garcia

Tanya is an implementation specialist for SaaSam, looking forward to starting some programming and implementation projects for clients. She has a Bachelor's in Information Technology, and in her spare time enjoys reading, programming and watching films.
